In compliance with Google Play Store policies on user data transparency and control, the following details how you can delete all information associated with your use of WallChange.
6.1. Local Data Storage
WallChange is designed under the data minimization principle. We do not store any of your information on external servers or cloud databases. All application information is stored strictly locally on your Android device. This includes:
- Created libraries.
- References and optimized local copies of imported images.
- Your configuration preferences (time intervals, destination screens, rotation order, etc.).
6.2. How to Delete Your Data Completely
Since we do not have servers or user accounts, you can immediately and permanently delete all your data from the application using any of these methods:
Method A: From the Application Settings
You can delete individual libraries or photos directly within the app:
- Open WallChange.
- Go to the Libraries section.
- To delete a photo: enter the library, long-press the photo or press the delete button.
- To delete an entire library: press the delete button (trash icon) next to the library name in the list.
Method B: Clear Data from Android Settings
This method will reset the application to its initial installation state, deleting all libraries, imported images, and settings:
- On your Android device, go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps.
- Search for and select WallChange.
- Tap on Storage.
- Select Clear data (or Clear storage) and confirm the action.
Method C: Uninstall the Application
When you uninstall the application from your device, the Android operating system will automatically delete all local files and databases created by WallChange:
- Long-press the WallChange icon on your home screen or app drawer.
- Drag the icon to Uninstall or select the corresponding option in the pop-up menu.
- Confirm the uninstallation.
6.3. Third-Party Data (AdMob and Stripe)
If you have interacted with Google AdMob ads or made a donation through Stripe, these third-party service providers may process certain data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
