At WallChange, we take our users' privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in the WallChange mobile application for Android.

4.1. Information Collection and Personal Data

WallChange does not collect, store, transmit, or share any type of personal or user identification information.

• We do not require the creation of a user account or registration.
• We do not request data such as names, emails, phone numbers, or locations.
• We do not use data analysis tools (analytics) that track your behavior or collect device information.

4.2. Access to Images and Multimedia Files

To fulfill its main function (changing the wallpaper), the application requires access to the images you select from your device.

The application requires Internet access to download images that the user chooses to import from cloud storage services (such as Google Photos or Google Drive). These images are processed and stored only locally on the user's device and are not sent to our servers.

• Local Access: The application accesses images only locally on your device using the standard Android photo picker.
• No External Servers: Your photos are never uploaded to the internet, sent to external servers, or processed by us. All image processing (scaling, cropping, and saving) is performed 100% locally on your device.

4.3. Permissions Used

The application requests the following permissions on your Android device:

• Access to media files / photos: Required for you to select and import photos from your gallery to your WallChange libraries.
• Set wallpaper (WallpaperManager): System permission to change the home and/or lock screen wallpaper.
• Foreground Service / Background execution: Used to schedule and execute automatic wallpaper changes at the selected intervals or upon unlocking the device.
• Notifications: Required in recent Android versions to display the background service notification that ensures the correct operation of wallpaper rotation.

4.4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The application may integrate third-party services that collect information used to identify you:

• Google AdMob: If the application displays ads, Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to personalize ads and perform performance analysis. You can consult the Google Privacy Policy for more information.
• Stripe (Donations): If you decide to support the project through the donation link, the transaction will be processed securely through Stripe. WallChange does not store or have access to your bank or credit card details. You can consult the Stripe Privacy Policy for more details.

4.5. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We recommend that you review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this policy are effective as soon as they are posted on this page.
